Checked out of the hotel by midday and caught a taxi to the ship. Even though we could see it clearly from the hotel, it was hard to see how we could get there easily.
Slightly different views of the city.
There were long queues to get on to the ship, firstly to get our photos taken, and then to get through the makeshift security where everyone seemed to get personally scanned. Still 90 minutes later and we were in our “stateroom” and I must say, very nice it is. Soon found our way to one of the many eating establishments and had a light lunch (as far as one can with so much food and choice). Then wandered around until sail away time where we were forced to take a “sail away cocktail”. It was dark by this time so we were able to take a few snaps of the city before leaving.
Then dinner followed by the first of our spectacular shows. By now we’re heading up the St Lawrence river towards the Saganay Fjord and have been promised possible glimpses of Baluga Whales at 7am tomorrow morning.
So Exciting. Looking forward to seeing pics of the whales
