The tour bus collected us from our hotel soon after 9am and we drove to Niagara Falls which is about an 80 mile drive. Nice bunch of people, only 11 of us, from India, Australia and Calgary. Stopped near the falls for a few brave hearts to taks a helicoptor ride over the falls - $95 for 8 minutes! The rest of us had a photo opportunity nearby.
The boat trip lasted about 30 minutes and took us right into the spray of the Horseshoe Falls (which is the Canadian one) and past the American Falls. This is the American Falls ......
And here's the Horseshoe Falls which is the really wet one........
Then back up on top for drier views (until we got near the source) and lunch .......

Finally off to Niagara on the lake before stopping at a winery on the way back to Toronto where they make Ice wine. Here's Niagara on the lake which is a very pretty tourist town.
Got back to the hotel at about 8pm too tired to do much except have a couple of glasses of wine!

Great pics of Toronto and the falls. Thankyou. It's 20 years since I was there and number of building that have gone up is impressive. You haven't mentioned the cost of beer yet Dave. Does the barman expect the 15% AND a 15% tip. The weather looks godd - except when you chose to get wet. Cheers Roger
